LATEST UPDATE : GANNETT PEAK, 13,804 feet

A Climbing Guide & 1:24,000 Topo for
Wyoming's Highest Point

Suzie climbs in Butte

Volume 2 in our "High Point Map Series"

Updated May 7, 2008

For the first time, you have an "all-in-one" guidebook and complete topographic map for Wyoming's most popular summit, Gannett Peak; considered one of the most challenging of the 50 state high points. Indeed, the rough terrain and remoteness of the Wind River Range makes Gannett Peak one of the premier alpine gems in the country.

In development for several years, final production of our Gannett map has recently been delayed due to factors beyond our control. Our mapping partner, Alpine Mapping Guild/Martin Gamache, has been very busy with work for National Geographic Magazine. As a fellow climber and a like-minded creative artist, who can fault Martin for tending to the big fish first. As a small, independently owned publisher (in fact, we relish being at the bottom of the totem pole since it allows us to stay true to our own vision and level of quality) we are proud to be working with such a world class cartographer. Our unique 1:24,000 scale map of Gannett Peak will truly be worth the wait.

As of Spring 2008 we are finalizing the cartography and final layout of this tremendous and much anticipated product. We will be updating this page as soon as we have a firm publication date.
