Ski Trails

Yellowstone National Park - Following up to her best-selling Ski Trails in Southwest Montana, Melynda Harrison has recently put the wraps on Ski Trails of Yellowstone National Park and it is currently in production here at First Ascent. We will be posting teasers here throughout November and December 2008. Check back often for information on the latest world-class trails in West Yellowstone, Island Park and Yellowstone National Park.

More Montana Rock Climbing

Central Montana Rock - True to form, author Jake Mergenthaler, Randall Green and the rest of the Helena crew have been hard at work makingCentral Montana Rock outdated before the ink was dry. There are at least a half dozen new pitches at Blackleaf as well as a whole new crag above The Alien at Avalanche. ( , 484 Kb)

Elsewhere, Bill Dockins added a rare 5.9 in Hellgate (Baker's Rock) which will certainly become one of the most popular routes around. Check back soon!
