About First Ascent Press, LLC
First Ascent Press, LLC is a grassroots, family company; and we intend to keep it that way. We have no interest in the "shotgun" approach to outdoor guides where we simply push out as many titles as possible. As anyone who has grown up in Montana knows, quality of life is the most important aspect to our daily existence. Similarly, First Ascent Press endeavors to produce meaningful titles that have an extended usefulness to our readers. First Ascent Press looks forward to become a cornerstone of the Bozeman, Greater Yellowstone and outdoor communities. We encourage you to check back often for updates on our progress. Thanks for the interest and support of First Ascent Press.

As authors and publishers of guidebooks and interpretive information, we burden the responsibility to promote practical, respectful and non-partisan approaches to how we value, use, and treat the landscape around us.
